
Dr. Delaney attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, from 1980 to 1984. He graduated with a degree in Biology. He attained his medical degree at the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine, attending from 1984 to 1988. Dr. Delaney completed a surgical residency in foot and ankle surgery with the Maryland Podiatry Residency Program, a John Hopkins affiliated program.
Dr. Delaney has served as Chief of Podiatry at Pine Ridge Medical Hospital in South Dakota for four years. His work in reducing the number of amputations at the Lakota Indian reservation in Pine Ridge, South Dakota was nationally recognized by the podiatric profession. He has been in private practice for the past 25 years and is board certified in foot surgery. He is a proud member of the Native American Waccamaw Siouan tribe of North Carolina.
